- 1). Click "Start." Click "Control Panel" from the pop-up menu. Click the "Appearance and Personalization" tab at the top of the window that appears. Click the "Adjust screen resolution" link beneath "Appearance and Personalization."
- 2). Click the "Resolution" drop down menu. Slide the slider bar up or down until the text next to it reads "800 x 600." Click "Keep" at the bottom of the window to close the drop down menu.
- 3). Click "OK" in the window that is still on the screen. Close the window by clicking the red "X" in the upper right corner.
