- 1). Press the key release button on the front of the key fob and the key will pop out.
- 2). Insert the tip of a flathead screwdriver in the seam where the two halves of the key fob meet.
- 3). Work your way around the side of the key fob until the two halves separate. Behind the top half of the fob you will find the green circuit board that controls the buttons. The battery will be located in the other half of the key fob.
