Let's talk about self employment now. The first thing you have to do is make a list. I find anything everything starts with a list. Do you have a business idea? Do you have a hobby of maybe a service you can perform? If you do your at the starting line. Now let's get down to business.
Write your business plan. Don't even think of beginning with out a plan. Put your idea in writing. This will serve as your guide to keep you on track when you get distracted. A business plan is nothing more than a summary of your business idea and financial statements to back it. Be sure to take you time. If you can put your self employment business plan in writing and it still makes sense, your on to something good. Now the hard work begins.
Remember that all business is about selling. Well, it couldn't be about anything else. Think about it you either sell a product an idea or a service. Now that you have that understood ask yourself who will I sell to? In the past, someone else was most likely responsible for dealing with and finding customers. That person had all the product knowledge and fit it to a customer need. This will all fall on you now, so be sure to know your business. Ask yourself these questions: How familiar am I with your product or business and what do I need to learn? Who will my customers be? Your answers will help you in your endeavor for self employment now. So write a business plan, don't wait, get stated right away.
