- 1). Locate the plastic caps on the sides of the stereo itself. Pry off the covers using the flathead screwdriver. This will reveal two holes on each side of the deck, one stacked on top of the other.
- 2). Push one of the radio removal tools into the holes on the side of the deck until it clicks in place, then repeat the process on the other side of the deck. Pull the radio tools towards the doors of the car, and pull it towards you at the same time.
- 3). Pull the deck out of the dashboard and unplug the wiring harness and antenna lead out of the back of the stereo using your hand.
