How to Remove AntiSpywareMaster from a Computer

    • 1). Press "Ctrl," "Alt" and "Delete" together to open the Windows Task Manager. Click the "Processes" tab to show the currently running processes on your computer.

    • 2). Scroll through and click "AntiSpywareMaster.exe." Click "End Process." Click "asm.exe" and click "End Process." Close the Task Manager.

    • 3). Click the Windows "Start." Click "Run" and type "%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe" (without quotes), and then click "OK." Click "Create a restore point" on the "Welcome to System Restore Page" and click "Next." Type in a name for your restore point and click "Create." Click "Close." This will back up the registry and the system.

    • 4). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "Run." Type "regedit" (without quotes) and click "OK" to open the registry window.

    • 5). Press "F3" to open the registry search box. Search for and delete the following registry values:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AntiSpywareDeluxe
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AntiSpywareMaster
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\{5222008A-DD62-49c7-A735-7BD18ECC7350}
      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{80ced3d6-ece9-48ba-8df8-2503d8d87c2b}
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\antispywaremaster
      Close the registry.

    • 6). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "Search." Click "Search All Files and Folders" on the left panel to open the search box.

    • 7). Search for and delete these files: AntiSpywareMaster7.3.exe and asm.exe.

    • 8). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "Run." Type %programfiles% and press "Enter" to open the Program Files folder.

    • 9). Locate the "antispyware master" folder and delete it. Empty the recycle bin to complete the removal process.
