- 1). Plug one end of a composite audio/video cable into the A/V input jacks of your television. The composite cable consists of three RCA cables bundled together. Each end has a red, white and yellow plug. The red and white plugs are for stereo audio, while the yellow is for video. The A/V input jacks on your television will be listed as A/V IN or A/V 1, 2 or 3. Any set will do.
- 2). Route the cable behind your television to the back panel of the DVD player.
- 3). Plug the other end of the composite cable to the A/V out plugs on the back of the MDV421/17. Be sure you match the color of the plugs to the color of the jacks.
