How to Remove Virus Lab 2009 From Your Computer

    • 1). Open the Control Panel, located on the Start menu.

    • 2). Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs" from within the Control Panel window.

    • 3). Scroll down until you locate "VirusResponse Lab 2009." Select the program and then click "Remove." Restart your computer. If the program is not listed, proceed to the next step.

    • 4). Open the Start menu and click "Run." Type "regedit" and click "OK." Windows Vista and 7 users can type "regedit" in the search box, located on directly on the Start menu.

    • 5). Locate the following files by pressing "F3" and entering the name in the box. Right-click on the file and select "Delete."

    • 6). Open the "Search for Files" application located on the Start menu. Search for and delete all instances of the following files and folders:

      VirusResponse Lab 2009 2.1.lnk
      AVLWarning.dll
      VirusResponseLab2009 (located in Program Files directory)
      uninst.exe
      VirusResponseLab2009.exe
      VirusResponseLab 2009 File Folder

    • 7). Restart your computer once the files have been deleted. Once the files are deleted, the software no longer appear on your computer.
