Standard

• The most basic style of plastic window beads are strands of beaded balls, each of unison size. These plastic beads come in smooth round or disco ball styles. Beads are strung equidistantly spanning the window or curtain length. Most commonly found in gold and silver, this basic bead style comes in approximately 15 different metallic-colored finishes.
  
  

Varying Size

• Another basic style of plastic window beads incorporates beads of varying sizes. Typically, the small beads make up the majority on the strand and range in diameter from from 4 to 6 mm. Strung equidistantly between every few small beads are larger beads for contrast, sized in the 10-to-12-mm range.

• With the more decorative window bead styles, the larger contrasting bead is replaced with a fun shape, often complementing the theme of a room. In this arrangement, strands of beads --- even if decorative and varying in size --- are all the same color.
