How to Make Ringtones for Quickfire
- 1). Visit a website that lets you make ringtones from MP3 songs. Some of these websites are Myxer, Tonebee and Phonezoo (see Resources). When you go to the website, you will have to create an account, so click the "Register"/"Sign up" button. Provide the required login information and sign in using the username and password.
- 2). Click the "Create Ringtones"/"Create Your Own" link.
- 3). Click "Choose File." Find and open the MP3 audio track with which you want to make a ringtone for your phone. The website will take a minute or two to load the track online.
- 4). Pick a specific fragment of the MP3 file to make a ringtone. You can select any portion of the track. Keep in mind that the durartion of a ringtone usually varies between 10 to 15 seconds.
- 5). Click the "Crop"/"Cut" link for converting the file into a ringtone.
- 6). Click "Send to Phone."
- 7). Enter your cell phone number. Once you confirm the transfer, you will receive the ringtone on the phone.
- 8). Press the "Menu" icon on your Quickfire, and go to "My Stuff."
- 9). Go to "Ringtones & Audio." Here, you will find the ringtone you sent from the website to the phone. Select the file, go to "Options" and set it as the ringtone for incoming calls.
