- 1). Insert the recovery CD into the computer.
- 2). Restart the computer and press any key to boot from CD.
- 3). Select the "Restore my computer" option.
- 4). Click on the option to perform a clean restoration (removing your personal files) or an in-place restoration (leaving your personal files) as desired.
- 5). Restart your computer when the automated recovery is complete.
