    • 1). Read the account of creation in Genesis 1:1-2:3. Begin your booklet with the creation of light and end with the completion of creation in Genesis 2:1-3. Set aside two pages for each day of creation. Have one page dedicated to words and the other page dedicated to a color graphic depicting the particular creation day. The image should be a simple image and be kid-friendly.

    • 2). Write or type out each Bible verse that corresponds with the seven days of creation. For example, for the page about the creation of light, write out Genesis 1:1-5 in its entirety. If you like, paraphrase each Bible verse so that a child can understand the text.

    • 3). Accompany the Scripture text with a simple heading that corresponds to each day of creation. For example, write "Day 1: God created light."

    • 4). Write out the entire creation story at the end of the booklet as it appears in the Bible so children become familiar with it. Include pictures throughout the verses to help kids understand the verses a bit more.

    • 5). Make a table of contents page to make it easier for children to know where each day is.

    • 6). Write out a page of questions at the end of the booklet to help the children learn about the seven days of creation. Keep the questions simple; for example, using Genesis 1:5, ask "What did God call the light?" and "What did God call the darkness?"

    • 7). Make a cover page with your own title like "God's Seven Days of Creation."

    • 8). Take the booklet to an office supply store and get it bound with a clear cover and backing to complete it.
