- 1). Turn off the engine of the truck and pull the hood-release lever.
- 2). Lift up the hood. With a socket wrench, disconnect the truck's negative terminal from the battery.
- 3). Remove the four securing screws along the upper portion of the Ram's dashboard cover.
- 4). Remove the two securing screws from the left side panel of the dashboard cover. Remove the two screws on the right side as well.
- 5). Lift the dashboard cover off the truck with a flathead screwdriver. You will need to disengage eight small clips surrounding the dashboard. They will pop right out with a flathead screwdriver.
- 6). Remove the dashboard cover from the truck. Place the new dashboard cover onto the Ram and reinstall the eight clips to secure it.
- 7). Reattach eight screws to the Ram's dashboard cover and reconnect the battery. Close the hood.
