- 1). Turn off the Mitsubishi television and shut down the Presario computer to eliminate any risk of a power surge that could damage the DLP screen.
- 2). Connect the S-video cable from the port on the back of the Presario to the matching port on the back panel of the Mitsubishi. Orient each plug so the notches line up with the slots on the port.
- 3). Turn on the Mitsubishi and the Presario. Compaq Presario desktop models should immediately recognize the connected TV and begin sending a video signal to the set. Laptop Presarios require an additional step.
- 4). Press the "Fn" key along with the "F5" key on a Presario laptop to switch off the computer's LCD screen and send the video signal to the Mitsubishi. Press "F5" a second time to view content on both screens, or press a third time to return to the Presario screen.
