    Performing A Primary Factory Reset

    • 1). Find on the back of your Netgear wireless Router a small circular recessed button marked "reset."

    • 2). Use a pin or pointed object press and hold the button for 10 seconds, until the test light starts to blink.

    • 3). Release the button and wait for the Netgear router to reboot.

    • 4). Use the default password (password or 1234) to log in. If you are unable to log in still, continue to Section 2.

    Performing A Secondary Factory Reset

    • 1). Unplug the Netgear router from its external power source.

    • 2). Find the reset button again and while the router is switched off, press and hold the reset button.

    • 3). Plug the routers external power source back in and allow it to turn on while the "reset" button is pressed.

    • 4). Continue to hold down the "reset" button for another 20 seconds.

    • 5). Release the button when the test button begins to blink and allow the router to fully reboot. Type in the default password and log in.
