    • 1). Obtain an industrial plastic drain tube. Cut a 10-foot-long piece of double-wall corrugated drainage tube with the PVC saw.

    • 2). Cut two 3-foot sections on the top and bottom of the drainage tube. These sections should be parallel to each other. Cut the sections with the PVC saw.

    • 3). Sand the inside of the tube with the electric sander. Smooth the inside of the tube enough so that a person can easily slide down.

    • 4). Drill a hole on the top of one end of the tube. The hole should be large enough to fit a garden hose.

    • 5). Attach steel poles on the tube parallel to each other with steel bolts. Attach the steel poles every 3 feet up the tube. Starting from the bottom of the tube, begin with the 2-foot steel poles, then 5-foot steel poles and 8-foot steel poles. Bolt the poles and tube together with the bolt gun.

    • 6). Dig six holes 3 feet apart with the post digger. Place the steel poles inside the holes. Align the holes to position the tube close to the pool. Add cement to the post holes for longer durability of the steel poles.

    • 7). Attach steel flanges to the top portion of the tube using bolts and the bolt gun. Secure the flanges to the patio or pool deck with masonry screws.

    • 8). Place a 10-foot ladder at the top entry point of the slide. Place in the water hose in the top hole of the tube. Turn the hose on to allow the water to flow down the tube. Slide down the tube into the pool for testing.
