How to Make Anything Wireless
- 1). Connect your printer to one of the computers that is on your wireless home network. If your printer did not come with a USB printer cable, you'll need to purchase one at an electronics store.
- 2). Click "Start."
- 3). Click "Control Panel."
- 4). Click "Network and Sharing Center."
- 5). Click "Printer Sharing" to reveal the "Turn on Printer Sharing" option. Click on the "Turn on Printer Sharing" option and then click "Apply." Your attached printer will now be "made wireless" and will be instantly available to any wireless device that is connected to your home network.
- 1). Connect your device to one of the computers on your home wireless network.
- 2). Click "Start."
- 3). Click "Computer."
- 4). Right-click on the icon for the connected device and click "Properties."
- 5). Click "Sharing" and then click on the "Share this Device" option. Click "Apply" to make this device instantly available to all other wireless devices on your home network.
