    Direct Boot Method

    • 1). Insert the Leopard DVD into the disc drive.

    • 2). Restart the computer.

    • 3). Hold in the "C" key immediately after the startup chime.

    • 4). Release the "C" key after the computer begins to boot from the Leopard DVD. This normally requires approximately 30 seconds.

    System Preferences Method

    • 1). Insert the Leopard DVD into the disc drive.

    • 2). Click the "System Preferences" icon in the Dock.

    • 3). Click the "Startup Disk" icon.

    • 4). Click the Leopard DVD.

    • 5). Click the "Restart" button. The computer restarts and automatically boots from the Leopard DVD.
