How to Convert OGG Format to MP3
- 1). Visit a website with a free converter available. An example is Format Factory (See Resources). Click on the download links until a download window comes up. Choose the option to save the file, and then hit "OK."
- 2). Find the file on your computer. The setup file should have generally the same name as the name of the converter. Double-click on the file to begin installation. A window should automatically come up, giving you an option to use a special program to open your install file. Click "OK". If the file won't open, you'll need a program to "unzip" it. Install Winrar first (See Resources) and try again.
- 3). Double-click on the EXE file to begin the installation. The first screen will be a license agreement. Click "I Agree", and then in the next screen, click "Install". After the install finishes, click "Finish" to begin the program.
- 4). Click the "Audio" tab on the left. Click the "All to MP3" button. A new window will come up---click "Add File." Now you'll have a browse window you can look through to find your OGG file. Double-click on it to return to the previous screen. Click "OK" to go back to the main screen.
- 5). Confirm that your OGG file is listed under "Source" in the main screen. Click "Start" at the top of the main screen to begin the conversion.
- 6). Click "Output Folder" to find your newly converted MP3 file.
