- 1). Install the refilled print cartridges into the MX310. Wait for the printer's software to detect the refilled cartridges. A message appears asking if you want to continue using the ink cartridges despite the fact that the ink level in them cannot be detected. Click "OK."
- 2). Click "Yes" in the next window that appears. This window warns you about potential damage to the printer from an improperly filled ink cartridge.
- 3). Select "Yes" one more time in the next window that appears, which informs you that Canon is not liable for damage done to the printer by the refilled cartridges. Another window appears, directing you to hold down the "Resume" button on your MX310 for five seconds. Do so, then release it.
