- 1). Check the Sanyo remote control manual for the programming codes that operate your devices. The codes are listed in alphabetical order by the manufacturers' name. Most of the manufacturers have more than one code listed, in the event the first code does not work.
- 2). Hold down the button that corresponds to the device you are programming and enter the first code from the list with the number keypad. For example, if you are programming a Sanyo television, you would press and hold the "TV" button and press "1," "0" and "0." The indicator light will blink five times if the code is entered correctly.
- 3). Point the remote control at the television and press the "Power" button. If the device turns on, the code is correct. If the device does not turn on, repeat steps 2 and 3 with the next code on the list.
- 4). Repeat steps 1 to 3 with each device you want to program to work with the remote control.
