- 1). Restart your computer. As soon as the boot cycle starts, press the "F2" or "Delete" key (on most computers) to access the BIOS page. If you are unsure of which key to press, view the first screen that appears when your computer restarts. Near the bottom of the page, you'll find the message: "Press [key] to enter BIOS." You must press the specified key quickly before the operating system begins to load. On some computers, you must press the key repeatedly until the BIOS page displays.
- 2). Navigate the BIOS menu using the arrow keys on your keyboard and select the tab labeled "Peripherals" or "Peripheral Setup."
- 3). Select the option labeled "On-Board Memory Size." Depending on your BIOS version, this option may be called something slightly different.
- 4). Adjust the amount of RAM allocated to your video card using the arrow keys. Your available options will most likely be 32, 64 and 128 MB. Once you have set your desired amount of RAM, press the "Enter" key.
- 5). Press the "Esc" key to return to the main BIOS menu. Press "F10" to save your new settings. Press "Esc" once more to restart your computer.
