What Is the Structure of a Gerber Daisy?

The flower of the Gerbera is made of three flower types. The centermost portion of the composite flower is called the disk floret, the middle flower is called the trans floret and the outer portion of the flower is the ray floret. Gerbera daisies have rich green leaves that grow low to the ground in a mound. - Gerbera daisies commonly grow to 18 inches tall.
