How to Watch a DVR on the Computer

1). Attach the component cables to the output slots of the DVR.
2). Attach the opposite end of your cables to the slots of the component-to-VGA adapter cable.
3). Attach your VGA side of the adapter cable to the slot that sits on the rear portion of your laptop or desktop monitor.
4). Attach the cables that provide your sound to the output slots on the rear section of your DVR device.
5). Attach the opposite part of your audio cables to the slots of your sound source such as your system speakers, radio or your TV set.
6). Test your components. Once you turn on the power for each device, watch your DVR on your computer. If you can see and hear everything clearly, your system is now set up correctly.
