How to Burn Protected M4V Files to a DVD
- 1). Remove the DRM-protection from M4V files. Use a Mac application like Noteburner M4V Converter Plus or Kigo M4V Converter to lift the digital restrictions from the media. Re-format these videos as un-protected M4V files or another type of digital video.
- 2). Insert a blank DVD-R into the DVD-ROM drive. The disc will display on the desktop as an icon named "Untitled DVD".
- 3). Double-click "Untitled DVD" and the disc will load in "Finder". Find the un-protected versions of the M4V files. Select the items and drag them into the DVD. When the videos have been fully transferred over, they will appear listed on the disc.
- 4). Click the "Burn" icon and a disc writing dialog box will appear Enter a title in the "Disc Name" field. Open the "Burn Speed" drop-down menu and choose a burning rate.
- 5). Click the "Burn" button to write the videos onto the DVD. When the media have been fully written onto the disc, the DVD will automatically eject.

- 4). Import the un-protected versions of the M4V files. Search for the media in the file selection window. Select the items and click "Open" to load them into the project.
- 5). Run the burn command to write the videos onto the DVD. When the media have been fully written onto the disc, the DVD will automatically eject.
