How to Remove Logitech Quickcam Driver
- 1). Click the Start icon at the bottom of the monitor, and then click "Control Panel."
- 2). Select the "Add and Remove Programs" icon on the Control Panel on a Windows XP computer, and select the "Uninstall a Program" or "Programs and Features" Control Panel item in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- 3). Click "Logitech QuickCam" on the list of programs, and then click "Remove" or "Uninstall."
- 4). Click the "Yes" button in the pop-up window asking if you are sure you want to uninstall Logitech QuickCam. The computer then displays another prompt explaining that it is unable to change certain files when they are in use, and that the computer needs to be restarted.
- 5). Click "OK" to indicate that you are ready for the computer to restart after removing the Logitech QuickCam files. In some cases, the uninstall utility is able to remove the files that are in use without restarting the computer. The utility then displays a prompt asking if you want to delete any of the custom video effects and privacy filters that you have installed.
- 6). Click "Yes" if you want the uninstall utility to delete your custom fies. When this process is complete, you are returned to the program listing. Logitech QuickCam should no longer be displayed.
- 7). Press the Windows logo and "R" keys on the keyboard simultaneously. Type "devmgmt.msc" without quotation marks in the box that appears and then press "Enter." Windows displays the Device Manager.
- 8). Double-click the "Imaging Devices" category to expand it. The Logitech QuickCam is displayed here. If you purchased a computer with a QuickCam built in, the Device Manager entry may display the name of your computer manufacturer, e.g., "QuickCam for Dell Notebooks."
- 9). Right-click the Logitech QuickCam entry in the Device Manager, and then click "Uninstall."

Place a check in the box labeled "Delete the driver software for this device," and then click "OK."
