How to Set Up a Dell 720 Inkjet Printer
- 1). Connect your Dell 720 Inkjet printer to your computer via USB cable.
- 2). Click the "Start" button on the lower-right side of your screen, then right-click "Computer." Select "Properties" from the menu that pops up. Check if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows next to "System Type" in the window that appears.
- 3). Download the proper drivers from the Dell website. Make sure you download the 64-bit drivers if you have the 64-bit version of Windows installed, and the 32-bit drivers if you have the 32-bit version of Windows installed.
- 4). Locate the file you downloaded from the Dell website and double-click on it to install the drivers onto your computer.
- 5). Click "Start," then "Devices and Printers" after you install your drivers. Right-click on "Dell Inkjet Printer 720" and select "Set as default printer."
