1). If possible, determine the brand of car wax you are trying to remove. If you can, buy this company's wax remover, as it will likely be designed for that company's brand of wax. Also, determine the type of paint on your car and make sure that the wax remover will not react negatively with the paint.
2). Once you have found a wax remover that is compatible with both the type of wax and type of paint currently on the car, you are ready to proceed. Begin by putting the wax remover on a clean, dry rag. Working in small sections, rub in a circular motion until the wax comes off. Change rags as necessary.
3). Once the wax has been removed, polish the car and reseal.
