- 1). Run the cables from the console port on the TopView KVM switch to the first computer. Attach the monitor cable to the monitor port on the computer or server. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the appropriate ports on the computer or server.
- 2). Connect the remaining cables from the console port on the back of the TopView KVM switch to the remaining computers.
- 3). Connect the keyboard, monitor and mouse to the ports on the TopView KVM switch. Each port is marked with the type of equipment, making it easy to connect everything properly.
- 4). Press the button on the top of the KVM switch to cycle through each connected computer.
