The Hewlett-Packard (HP) Laserjet 1100 is a personal laser printer that offers small size, long toner life and the ability to handle several different types of printing media. The HP 1100 is a suitable printer for the home user and has features that make it a printer powerful enough for small business use. - The HP 1100 laser printer supports the IBM OS/2, Microsoft DOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- This printer runs on normal 110 volt AC power and utilizes an integrated power supply. When operational, the HP 1100 uses 170 watts of electricity. Seven watts of power are consumed in standby mode. This printer is EPA Energy Star compliant.
- The HP 1100 connects to a computer using a parallel cable. One parallel printer is included with the printer. This printer has no modem or networking interfaces.
- The HP 1100 can print on plain paper, envelopes, labels and transparencies and can accommodate letter and legal size paper as well as envelopes. The feeder tray can hold 125 sheets of paper. This printer can only print in black and white and prints up to eight pages per minute. This printer is not equipped with a scanner, copier or fax.
