• 1). Go to the IfranView website (see Resources) and click "Download."
  
  
• 2). Select the "Tucows" option at the top of the list and click the blue "Download Now" button from the new screen.
  
  
• 3). Save the IfranView ".exe" file to the computer.
  
  
• 4). Run the program and follow installation instructions.
  
  
• 5). Start IfranView and click "Options" then "Capture/Screenshot."
  
  
• 6). Select "Whole Desktop Area" from the Capture Area menu.
  
  
• 7). Click "Automatic - Timer Delay" under the Capture Method and specify a delay of 30 seconds.
  
  
• 8). Specify a name, location and file type under the "Saving Method" heading. Click "Start."
  
  
• 9). Quickly minimize and right-click the desktop background. Select "Screensaver" from the menu.

  Select the screen saver you want to capture from the menu and click "Preview." Wait until the 30 seconds have elapsed. An image of the screen saver will be saved.

• 1). Open "System Preferences" by clicking it in the dock.
  
  
• 2). Select "Desktop & Screensaver" from the Personal menu at the top of the screen.
  
  
• 3). Select the screen saver you want to make a screenshot of and hold down both the "Command" (Apple) and "Shift" keys.
  
  
• 4). Click "Test" in the System Preferences menu.
  
  
• 5). When the screen saver is running, press the "3" button on the keyboard. A screenshot of the screen saver will be saved to the computer desktop.
  
  

Easy Screen Capture: Windows Screenshot

• 1). Go to the Easy Screen Capture website (see Resources) and click "Download Free Trial Version."
  
  
• 2). Click "Download From Server 1 (US)" and save the EXE file to your disc.
  
  
• 3). Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions.
  
  
• 4). Start Easy Screen Capture. Click "Close" in the free trial window, then minimize the program. Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Display" and select the "Screen Saver" tab.
  
  
• 5). Maximize Easy Screen Capture and reduce it in size on the screen so you can see the Screen Saver menu as well.
  
  
• 6). Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard and press "Preview" in the Screen Saver menu. When the screen saver loads, hit the "F5" key.
  
  
• 7). Listen for the photograph sound effect, which will be Easy Screen Capture taking a picture of the screen saver. Click "File" and "Save As.." to save the image.
