- 1). Put the Impala in "Park" and turn the key on or crank the engine. Push the "Information" button on the dash until the phrase "To Relearn Remote Key" is displayed on the instrument cluster.
- 2). Push and hold the "Check Mark" button on the dash until the phrase "Remote Key Learning Active" shows.
- 3). Push the "Lock" and "Unlock" switches on the remote. Hold the buttons down for 15 seconds or so, until you hear an interior chime sound.
- 4). Push either button to test the programmed remote.
