How to Draw Demon Eyes
- 1). Lay the ruler horizontally across the upper middle of your paper. Use the edge to draw a straight horizontal line. Move the ruler down four to six inches and draw another horizontal line. Turn the ruler vertically and center in the middle of the paper. Draw two straight vertical lines, one on each side of the ruler, running from the horizontal line on top down to the one on the bottom.
- 2). Move the ruler an inch or two from the left side edge and draw another vertical line between the horizontal lines. Do the same to the right side. You should now have two square shapes on your page. Turn the ruler to a 45 degree angle and place it in the right square (the right end of the ruler points upward). Draw a diagonal line, separating the square into two triangles.
- 3). Do the same to the left square (the left end of the ruler points up to the left). Erase the top triangles on either shape so your left with two bottom right angle triangles. Erase the 90 degree angle points in favor of a smoother, oblong contour. You should now have what looks like two basic eye shapes, the eye and the brow. Extend the brow line slightly downward but don't let the brow lines intersect.
- 4). Draw a line inside the eye line that mimics the same shape. Shape the in-between space with your pencil. Add small half triangles underneath each brow line to create the demon's pupils, then draw half circles around the triangular-shaped pupils.
- 5). Add in small detail lines that give the impression of an evil scowl or snarl; draw smaller 45-degree-angled lines slightly above each brow, then add semi-circular lines under the eyes to imply an otherworldly 3D depth. Trace the drawing in black ink to make your art stand out on the page.
