    • 1). Restart your computer.

    • 2). Look for a message such as "Press F2 to enter setup" as your computer is starting up. You need to press the prompted button to enter the BIOS.

    • 3). Navigate around in BIOS using the directional arrows on your keypad until you find the tab labeled "Boot Order." Depending on your computer and on which operating system you use, the boot management option may be located in different areas. Try checking under the sections labeled "BIOS Menu Setup" and "Advanced BIOS Features."

    • 4). Highlight the tab labeled "Boot Order" once you find it and hit "Enter." You should now see a list of your current boot order. Take a moment to consider your current boot order. Look along the bottom of your computer screen for a key sidebar to find out which key shifts the boot sequence. For most computers, the necessary key is the " -" or "+" button on your keypad.

    • 5). Change the boot sequence as desired. Hit the "Esc" key once you are finished. Select "Yes" when you are asked to save the changes and exit BIOS. Wait while your computer exits BIOS and restarts.
