    • 1). Open the folder containing your image files in the Finder. Choose "as Columns" from the "View" menu, then select one of your image files. The rightmost column will display a preview of your image. Use the up-arrow and down-arrow keys to scroll through your images.

    • 2). Select the images that you wish to browse, then drag them to the Preview application in the Dock. A Preview window will open displaying the first image with the entire list appearing as thumbnail images in a drawer to the right of the window. Click on a thumbnail, then use the up-arrow and down-arrow keys to scroll through your images full-size in the Preview window.

    • 3). Select the images you wish to browse, then drag them to the iPhoto application in your Dock. These images will be imported into your iPhoto library. You can then use iPhoto's tagging and cataloging tools to write notes about the images or collect them into different albums for various uses.
