Print Screen

• 1). Set up your screen or an individual window for the screen shot.
  
  
• 2). Take a screen shot of the full screen by pressing the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. Take a screen shot of the currently selected window by holding "Alt" as you press the "Print Screen" key.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Start" button and select "All Programs."
  
  
• 4). Open the "Accessories" folder and run Paint.
  
  
• 5). Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the screen shot into Microsoft Paint.
  
  
• 6). Click the Diskette icon at the top-left corner of the window to save the image.
  
  

Snipping Tool

• 1). Open the Start menu and click "All Programs."
  
  
• 2). Open the "Accessories" folder and run the Snipping Tool.
  
  
• 3). Click the small drop-down arrow to the right of "New" to choose which type of screen shot you want to take.
  
  
• 4). Follow the instructions given by the Snipping Tool to capture a screen shot.
  
  
• 5). Click the Diskette icon at the top-left corner of the window to save the image.
