    • 1). Check the version of the driver installed to your computer. Left-click the Windows-logo button located on the task bar.

    • 2). Click "Control Panel." Click "Hardware and Sound." Click "Device Manager." Left-click the arrow next to "Display Adapters" to expand the menu.

    • 3). Double-click the display adapter. Click "Driver." Take note of the version. Click "OK."

    • 4). Browse to your motherboard or computer manufacturer's website. Choose "Download" or "Support" from the menu.

    • 5). Select your product model from the options or allow the website to detect your system automatically.

    • 6). Click "Drivers" from the options. Select your operating system from the drop-down menu.

    • 7). Expand "Display" or "Video." Compare the version of the driver installed to your computer to the versions on the website. Download to your desktop the latest driver for your display adapter.

    • 8). Select the graphics driver by clicking on it. Follow the onscreen directions to update the driver for your graphics adapter. Restart the system.
