- 1). Verify that you have the phone line connected to the jack in the wall and to the modem port on the back of your computer.
- 2). Download the Audio Caller ID program to your computer. Double-click on the "oi_acllid30.exe" file to install the program. Double-click the "Audio Caller ID" icon to open the program.
- 3). Click the "File" drop-down and select "Options" to open the "Options" window.
- 4). Go to the "Email" tab and select the "Send Email if name/number is in list" radio button. Click the "New" button to add a new name and number to the list on the screen.
- 5). Click the "Email Properties" button to add your email address. An email will send whenever a name or number from the list calls.
- 6). Go to the "Audio" tab and select a voice to use from the "Select Voice" drop-down menu. Click the "Announcement" button and enter a phrase into the text box. Click the "OK" button to save the change.
- 7). Click the "Apply" button to save the changes that you made. Click the "Close" button to close the "Options" window.
- 8). Click the "Hide" button to minimize the program to the taskbar.
