Missionary Support Raising Training - Stories to Inspire - Supernatural Assistance
The Lord has blessed my wife and I with 5 healthy and beautiful children.
We are now also proud grandparents.
When my children were little, one of the many things that I enjoyed doing with them was reading stories and putting them to bed at night.
One night while I was putting my oldest child, Heather, five at the time, to bed - the topic of angels came up.
It must have been around Christmas time as I have always loved talking about all the angels in those stories in the Bible.
I can't remember why I asked this question, but I did: "Heather, have you ever seen an angel?" Her prompt and confident reply took me off guard as I had never seen , nor have since, an angel - or anything in the spirit realm.
Some of my friends had, and now my daughter joined many Biblical characters that have scene supernatural beings with her physical eyes.
"Oh, yes daddy, I have seen FIVE angels.
" I regained my composure to ask her another question: "Can you tell me about them?" Her answer was just as amazing to me: "Well, four of them where white, and they had white hair, and white shoes, but - the other one was blue, with blue hair and blue shoes, and it had faces all around.
" As she said this she took her hand and circled her head with a motion.
Her daddy was stunned to say the least.
It was easy to tell she was simply telling the truth and answering my questions.
You see, at five years of age I knew she had never studied the scriptures, particularly regarding the "faces.
" The majestic beings like this are described in the books Ezekiel and Revelation in the Bible.
* So there I was.
I affirmed her experiences and let her know that God watches over us, including the use of angels in His Kingdom.
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;" Psalm 91:11 Insight and possible application: Don't ever forget that the Kingdom we are in is an eternal and everlasting Kingdom.
It transcends this world, and one of the many resources our King has at His disposal to assist us are the legions of angels when we need help - which is most of the time!God can use angels even in the area of provision.
Abraham & Sarah learned this lesson well in their encounter with supernatural beings.

(Acts 12) Be sure to practice hospitality on your journey - an angel may be wanting to bless you! "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
