How to Install GBA SP Screens
- 1). Remove the five screws on the front of your Gameboy Advance's case. You will need a specialized tri-wing screwdriver to do this. There are three along the top, and one next to both bottom corners of the screen.
- 2). Pull off the top of your GBA's case. This can be accomplished by hand.
- 3). Remove the damaged screen. While the frame itself will pop out by hand, you will need to disconnect the ribbon display cable.
- 4). Follow the cable from where it plugs into the bottom of the screen to where it ends.
- 5). Push up on the tabs to disengage the clip holding it in, then pull it out.
- 6). Install the new screen by following the directions in reverse.
