What is the Daiwa Theory Spinning Reel?
- The four models of Daiwa Theory spinning reels are the TH1500, TH2500, TH3500 and the TH4000.
- The TH1500 is the lightest and smallest of the Theory spinning reels, weighing 9.7 oz. The TH2500 weighs 10.9 oz., the TH3500 is 14.5 oz. and the TH4000 is 14.3 oz.
- The TH1500 is ideal for light fishing with small lures and 4 lb. test line. The TH2500 can hold 10 lb. test line and is good for bass and trout, The TH3500 and TH4000 are suited for bigger lures and bigger fish, such as Pike and Muskie and can hold 12 and 14 lb. test lines.
- All Daiwa Theory reels are designed for freshwater fishing using monofilament fishing lines and artificial lures. They are not designed for saltwater fishing.
- All Daiwa Theory spinning reels feature an aluminum handle, stainless steel ball bearings, infinite anti-reverse and a bailsafe system which locks the bail when casting. Each reel comes with a spare aluminum spool.
