How to Remove Zune Marketplace
- 1). Click on the "Start" menu. If you are running Windows XP, select "Run." In Windows Vista and 7, the search box in the Start menu also acts as the Run program. Type "appwiz.cpl" in the Run dialogue box to open the application wizard.
- 2). Select Zune from the list of programs that appears. Click "Remove" or "Uninstall." Also remove Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0, Windows Driver Package -- Microsoft WPD, Windows Media Format 11 SDK and Windows Portable Devices. However, do not uninstall these additional programs if there are dependent programs blocking the removal.
- 3). Delete the Zune shortcuts from program files. Navigate to the computer's "Program Files" folder. Right-click on the Zune folder and select "Delete."
