- 1). Use a preformed raffia braid - it's easier than trying to make your own.
- 2). Open a bag of potpourri and pick out all of the large pieces.
- 3). Glue these items to the front of the braid.
- 4). Make raffia bows by separating colored raffia into sections of six strands.
- 5). Fold each section into a figure eight.
- 6). Use floral tape on the center to complete the bow.
- 7). Glue raffia bows at even intervals along the braid, beginning at the top.
- 8). Trim each wheat stalk stem to 1/2 inch from the bottom of the head.
- 9). Glue two or three heads on each bow.

Arrange the fall picks on the braid in alternating patterns. You can trim them with wire cutters. - 11
Add preserved oak leaves randomly to the braid. - 12
Glue acorns and smaller pieces of potpourri where filler is needed.
