How to Keep Bubbles From Forming on an iPod Touch Protective Covering
- 1). Dim the screen or turn off the Touch completely. The screen should be very dark so that you will be able to see the air bubbles.
- 2). Place your finger on the side of the air bubble nearest the center of the screen.
- 3). Push the air bubble toward the edge of the screen protector with your finger.
- 4). Place a piece of cardboard on the side of the air bubble that is farthest from the edge of the screen protector.
- 5). Slide the piece of cardboard until the air bubble has been pushed out from the edge of the screen protector.
- 1). Dim the screen on the iPod touch. You do not have to turn the phone off, but the screen should be dark enough to see all of the air bubbles under the screen protector.
- 2). Place a piece of transparent tape onto the surface of the screen protector. The tape should be placed at the bottom edge of the screen protector near the Home Button.
- 3). Lift the tape. The screen protector should lift off of the iPod Touch screen. Continue to lift the screen protector until you get to the air bubble.
- 4). Wipe the exposed screen area with the microfiber cloth. This will help get rid of any dirt or dust on the iPod screen and lessen the chance of more air bubbles developing.
- 5). Lower the screen protector until it makes full contact with the screen again. Do this slowly -- moving too fast can contribute to the formation of new air bubbles.
