How to Measure a Transformer
- 1). Lay a piece of paper on a flat surface. Unfold your Transformer and place it in the center of the paper. Place the pencil against the Transformer's head and draw a line on the paper. Place the pencil against the Transformer's feet and repeat. Make a mark on one side of the Transformer. Repeat on the other side.
- 2). Measure the distance between the head and foot mark. Record this number in your notebook as the height. Measure the distance between the two side marks. Record this number in your notebook as the width.
- 3). Compact or fold your Transformer into its transformed design. Using a new piece of paper, mark the top and the bottom of the Transformer. Next, mark each side of the Transformer. Measure the height and width as you did in the previous steps and record them in your notebook.
- 4). Place the folded Transformer in a spot that is free of clutter. Place the quarter next to it. Use your camera to photograph the Transformer with the quarter. The quarter will help others better understand the actual size of the Transformer in the picture.
- 5). Unfold the Transformer. Stand the Transformer on its feet and place the quarter next to it. Use the camera to photograph the Transformer standing up. Use the pictures and measurements to show others the accurate size of your Transformer.
