    • 1). Set the PowerPro and fluorocarbon lines on a hard surface. The ends of the lines should face in opposite directions, and the lines should overlap by about 8 inches.

    • 2). Pick up the PowerPro line and wrap it four times around the fluorocarbon line. Bring the end of the PowerPro back and place it where it and the fluorocarbon form a "V."

    • 3). Wrap the fluorocarbon line around the PowerPro four times. Bring the end of the fluorocarbon back and put it through the loop formed by the two lines. It should go into the loop from the opposite direction that the PowerPro went in.

    • 4). Pull the ends of the PowerPro and fluorocarbon lines at the same time. Just before you cinch the knot as tight as it will go, put it in your mouth and wet it with saliva. Then pull the ends of the two lines to cinch the knot.

    • 5). Cut the excess line hanging from the knot with a scissors.

    • 6). Use each of your hands to grab the line about 12 inches on each side of the knot. Tug firmly to ensure the knot is strong.
