How to Put a Fujitsu Computer in Sleep Mode
- 1). Press on your Fujitsu computer the button that is labeled "Power/Suspend/Resume." Do not hold the button down. Simply press and release it quickly. Depending upon the Fujitsu model you have, your button may be labeled as "Suspend/Resume."
- 2). Click on the "Standby" option. If you are running Windows Vista, it will read "Sleep" instead of "Standby." Therefore, you will click the "Sleep" option for Vista.
- 3). Wait for the power light to start flashing. This is an indicator that your computer has entered "sleep mode." If the light does not start flashing, but instead remains steady, your computer has not entered sleep mode. In this case, the only way to put your computer in sleep mode is to configure the computer settings. This can be done by proceeding to the next step.
- 4). Click on your Fujitsu's "Start" menu. Click on "Settings" and "Control Panel." Select "Power Options."
- 5). Look underneath the "Hibernate" tab. Place a check-mark in the box to "Enable" the hibernation feature. You can now close out of the "Power Options" window.
- 6). Press the "Power/Suspend/Resume" button again to put your Fujitsu computer in sleep mode.
