How Much Water & Light for Fuchsia?
- The fuchsia requires a place in a semi-sunny location or one with filtered sunlight. Stronger light might burn the leaves, while a weaker light results in weaker plants.
- Fuchsias need to be planted in well-drained soil, as they do not do well in sitting water. During the height of the blooming season, they need water once a day in normal conditions and twice a day in dryer weather. In the winter, they need to be watered sparingly every three to four weeks.
- Fuchsia should receive a balanced fertilizer once a week, or a slow-release fertilizer that keeps the soil fertile for between two and four months.
