- 1). Thread your fishing line through the plastic tube that your pre-tied stop knot is tied on. Remove the tubing from beneath the stop knot toward the loose end of your main line. Discard the plastic tube. Pull both ends of the stop knot tight and trim down the loose ends with your nail clippers snugly against the knot.
- 2). Slip your stop knot bead below the stop knot.
- 3). Thread your sliding bobber on your line below the stop knot bead. Tie the main line below your bobber to the two-way barrel swivel.
- 4). Measure 18 inches of leader line and cut it with your nail clippers. Tie one end of your leader line to the two-way barrel swivel and the other end to your jig. Adjust the depth of your jig by sliding the stop knot up and down on your main line.
