How to Build a Bait Shrimp Tank
- 1). Find a bucket that is tall enough and wide enough to be stable in a moving boat. Make sure that it will hold sufficient water, enough to accommodate the shrimp without overcrowding, but not so much that it will continually slop over the side.
- 2). Using a battery or generator-powered air pump, secure the oxygen tube inside and at least half way down from the water line into your bucket.
- 3). Secure a net inside, but not over the sides of the bucket for the shrimp to cling to.
- 4). Cover the bucket with a lid that has had a small section removed for the aeration tube and has holes for the oxygen to release from the bucket.
