    • 1). Scroll to the "Connection Settings" icon located on your BlackBerry. Click on the trackball to launch the program.

    • 2). Place a checkmark next to "Wi-Fi" and wait until the indicator on the right of the screen changes from red to yellow. Yellow indicates the Wi-Fi radio is on but not connected to a network.

    • 3). Scroll down to and highlight "Set Up Wi-Fi Network." Click on the trackball to launch the settings page for Wi-Fi networking.

    • 4). Scroll through the Wi-Fi tutorial and then highlight "Next." Click on it with the trackball to advance to the next page.

    • 5). Highlight "Scan For Networks" and then click on the trackball to begin the scan. The phone displays, "Searching for available Wi-Fi networks" and then displays a list of available networks.

    • 6). Scroll to and highlight the network name for your Netgear WNR8348 and click on it with the trackball. If prompted for a security code, your router has security enabled. Enter the password for your router. Scroll to "Connect" and click the trackball to proceed. The phone connects to the network and then prompts you to save the network for future connections. Highlight "Save Network" and click on the trackball to save it.
